Thanks to everyone that came to the rally this year, photos are being uploaded as I write this! And if you didn't come then you missed the best weather and best bands of the year!!

If anyone signs up for the forum then please email me, paul@dregs-mcc.com with the subject 'dregs forum' and I'll authorise it, it's just that so many bots sign up for the forum that checking through 3000+ sign ups to see which might be genuine is a real pain the behind!

The site has been down for a couple of weeks, due to some confusion over renewing the hosting but everything should be alright now and all spam has been deleted!

Hope to see everyone at the rally, just over 4 weeks to go!

Well, first off we're putting on a free rock night at the Belle Vue pub in Mapperley on 21st October, but there is a limit of around 120 people, so get there early to avoid disappointment!! And yes, it is FREE entry!

Secondly I've been deleting loads of spammer posts and banning lots of terms (mostly of a sexual, poker, mortgages, shoes (???), hotels, insurance, loans and pharmaceutical nature). If the forum looks spammed at any time, then don't worry, I WILL clean it up!

Please note that we have a summer party on 12th August, details on the events page.

Seems we had a little problem with spammers on the website posting rubbish and trying to post links in the guestbook. I deleted 500 or so entries containing links, so if your post was a genuine post then I apologise. The guestbook will no longer accept anything that looks like a link.

Seems the spammers are attacking the forums too, signing up and having website url's that lead to seedy websites. a cheap way of generating hidden links to their sites from other peoples sites. I've not stopped people having website url's in their forum profiles, but I have stopped a lot of words being used in those url's, I'll add more depending on what the spammers post next.......

Fixed the forum, should be ok now, let me know if you find any problems with it.

Also fixed some photo problems where large images were not coming up when smaller ones were clicked on - mostly naming problems with them since the server is case sensitive and a large blah.jpg is not the same as blah.JPG. If you find any photos that don't show up then let me know which one (just right click on it and select properties, cut and paste the link into an email to me).

Before anyone emails me about the forum, I'm trying to sort it out. Looks like it was hacked, so much for phpBB having few bugs. Anyway, thanks to whoever hacked it, it's nearly 1.00am here and I've had enough for the moment. Will look into it more tomorrow.
